Delegates at the First Quadrennial Session of the North-east Jamaica Conference elected a new administration to carry on the work of the Church for the next four years.

The Session, held at Camp Don in Robins Bay, St. Mary from September 17-18, saw the reelection of Pastor Arlington Woodburn, who has been president of the region since it was organized on August 1, 2006.

Pastor Adlai Blythe who previously served as Sabbath School and Personal Ministries Director was elected Executive Secretary, while Elder Michael Thompson was reelected Treasurer.

The other Directors elected at the Session are: Youth Ministries – Pastor Gordon Lindsay; Children’s and Women’s Ministries – Mrs. Carol Woodburn; Sabbath School and Personal Ministries – Pastor Steve Cornwall; Ministerial Secretary – Pastor Garfield Manderson. Read More…
